IVY (Interrupting Violence towards Youths) is a community organization that takes a stance against any form of domestic violence &/or interpersonal violence endured directly or indirectly by youths & young adults. Apart from bringing about more awareness, IVY creates a safe space for youths & young adults who encounter such violence – guiding them towards a securer way of living.
IVY shall be hosting an Art Competition on the 21st & 22nd of May 2022 between 11.30AM & 4PM at The Meeting Place, Marsa. Each participant will only attend on one of those dates.
The theme of the artworks will be; “Non-violent Futures”.
Any method of art is accepted; paint, pencils, chalk, sketch, etc.
The winner’s artwork will be developed into multiple posters which will be distributed to local institutions & organisations which work with or for youths & young adults. The winner will also receive a copy of the poster for themselves alongside a prize & recognition on IVY’s online platforms.
Nibbles, beverages, & gift bags will be offered to everyone participating.
All the artworks will also be posted on IVY online platforms, giving credit to each participant should they wish & accept for their names to be published.
Participants are asked to bring their own art supplies to the venue – IVY will provide the participants with themes & inspirations, but they may opt to find inspiration themselves.
