Mike Carey has worked extensively in the field of comic books, completing long and critically acclaimed runs on X-Men, Ultimate Fantastic Four and Lucifer. His ongoing comic book series for DC Vertigo, The Unwritten, has featured repeatedly in the New York Times’ graphic novel bestseller list, and he has been nominated for eleven Eisner Awards. His superhero series Suicide Risk, published by BOOM! Studios, launched in April of this year. He is also the writer of the Felix Castor novels, of which five are now in print in the UK and three in the US, and (along with his wife Linda and their daughter Louise) of the Arabian Nights-style entertainment, The Steel Seraglio, released in the US by ChiZine Publications in March 2012 and in the UK by Victor Gollancz. He writes mainstream thrillers as Adam Blake, and as M.J.Carey is the author of the upcoming horror novel The Girl With All the Gifts.
