
Nirvana Azzopardi has recently completed her studies and achieved an Advanced Diploma in Arts and Design, and aiming to further her studies in Game Art. She is willing to study more about the beauty in Game designing. From a very young age, she has always been passionate in art, anime, video-games as well as interested in the history of art. In the past few years, she has participated in many artistic activities such as: gilding restoration, `Bridging the Gapβ project, a project by EU funded solidarity corps, form by Legion of Mary, and has also designed the groupβs logo and other merchandise. Nirvana is also a voluntary worker at 12th May Band and Social Club, where she puts her skills at work for events that are organised regularly by the same community. Last year she took part in Malta Comic Con for the first time and she is willing to show more of her artworks in this yearβs Comic Con.
Nirvanaβs artworks are made up by using both traditional and digital techniques, as for the traditional method is for planning stage, and further progresses are held on digital at the designing stage. Nirvana is also able to create artworks using a wide range of tools, from acrylics to markers, watercolours and even pen drawing. Her skills have improved more during the 2 years course in MCAST and developed projects throughout the years as she is willing to join more activities/events and collaborations with other artists.
