Lawrence started to draw, at the early age of 8 years. At the same time he became a fan of the classic Anime being shown on Italian channels in 70’s and 80’s such as Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Grendizer and Rose of Versailles( Lady Oscar). Later he discovered and started to collect Marvel and DC comics. In 2001 and 2003 he held two classic Anime illustration exhibitions at the Gallerija Liberte, General Workers Union, Valletta. His favourite comic book creators that influenced and inspired his art are Jim Lee, Alan Davis, John Byrne, Alex Ross and J. Scott Campbell. Between 2000 and 2005 he did various interviews on TV on how to draw comics.
His work was also featured on the American comic art magazine, Issue 42# of Sketch Magazine.
During London Super Comic Con 2015 he had his first exhibiting stand in a foreign country thanks to Wicked Comics. He considers himself an inker and colourist. Some of his artwork is a tribute to his favorite Japanese and American comic artists with his interpretation and reproduction of their work.
