Wicked Comics are proud to present this year’s Malta Comic Con poster. Designed by comic artist Ilias Kyriazis, the poster features a brilliant concept, featuring pop culture characters phasing out from negative space.
Ilias Kyriazis, based in Athens, works in comics as a writer and artist since 2001. He has worked for DC Comics, Image Comics, IDW, Dark Horse, Dynamite Entertainment and more. Some of his comics are ELYSIUM ONLINE, FALLING FOR LIONHEART, MELODY, G.I.Joe FIRST STRIKE. Recently his work on IDW/BBC America’s comic series DIRK GENTLY’S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY was published in Greece and there was also was a republication of MANIFESTO, his most popular Greek comic.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary, Wicked Comics have also changed their Malta Comic Con logo into a 10th year anniversary icon, complementing the poster’s colour scheme.
Various local artists will join us for this weekend were we celebrate Pop Culture on the island! These include: Danielle Marie Pio, Eric Leone, Martine Ciantar, Matthew Theuma Fontebrera, Kristina Cutajar and Lawrence Paul Zrinzo.
Don’t forget, the Malta Comic Con 2018 will take place at the MFCC on the 3rd and 4th November 2018.
