Wicked Comics are please to announce the return of the Anime Party! This year it won”t be a Christmas event per se, but rather a social gathering to celebrate the start of a new year and meet with all you folks who made this year wicked for us! 2011 was a blast and after recharging our batteries from the 3rd Malta Comic Con, Wicked Comics are back!
All those who love Anime are invited to this event to rock the night away singing our favourite songs and be a bit nostalgic as well. Recently the father of some of our most loved anime series -Shingo Araki – died, so during this party Wicked Comics will also be paying a tribute by featuring the songs of his popular creations.
For all those of you who wish to book a karaoke session please send an email to Tamara Fenech on – faintarrow@yahoo.com or to Samantha Abela on – samantha.abela@gmail.com. If you can send an actual you-tube video ready for karaoke it would be much appreciated. Songs in Japanese are also accepted as long as they form part of an anime.
A list with all the Karaoke sessions will be published online by the 4th of January. No requests will be allowed after that day. A person can personally take part in a karaoke session up to 5 times. After 5 times s/he can sing with the rest of the group. This is to ensure everyone”s got a chance. No songs will be played more than once so booking is based on a first come first served basis.
