As part of the10 Year Anniversary Celebrations since the first Malta Comic Con; Wicked Comics is pleased to announce the first edition of the Malta Comic Con Summer Fest 2018 on the 7th and 8th July.
The idea behind the Malta Comic Con Summer Fest is to offer attendants a taste of what the Malta Comic Con is all about, to add another platform for creators, exhibitors and retailers to showcase their work and provide another opportunity for our community to meet. Consequently, it will comprise most of the components present during the convention: local artists, retailers, gaming, cosplay, a photography area with professional photographers taking free photos and more…
On Saturday the event will kick off at 11.00am till 10pm, while on Sunday it will start from 11:00am till 6pm. There will be also a special party after sundown on Saturday. Entrance tickets for attendant will only be available at the door for 5 Euros and will be valid for both days.
To this end Wicked Comics are issuing a call for all interested parties who wish to participate in this event. Space is limited and although we’ll try our best to accommodate everyone interested in participating we cannot guarantee a spot for everyone, so we strongly encourage you to reply stating your participation as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Creators:
Due to the limited space each 1.8m table will be shared by two creators so each creator will be assigned a space of 0.9m at a cost of €20 for each creator for the whole duration of the event (2 days). Each creator will also be provided with a chair. Anyone who wishes to share the table with a particular creator is kindly requested to send us the name of that creator when booking.
Retailers:
Retailers are being allocated a maximum of 2 tables 1.8m in length each and cost €50 euros for the duration of the event (2 days). This includes the provision of 2 free chairs, additional chairs can be booked at €2 per any extra chair.
Kindly note that space will only be allocated to tables supplied by Wicked Comics. Anyone bringing his own tables/chairs may be banned from participating in this and other future events organised by Wicked Comics.
