The acclaimed Italian artist Lucio Parrillo who’s works are in constant demand both in Italy and overseas, visited Malta during the Malta Comic Con held between the 26-27th November at the St. James Cavalier. Lucio Parrillo offered a live-painting session during the weekend in which people who visited his stand not only admired his prints and bought his artbook but could also look at him working on a canvas piece and ask him questions.
The original artwork piece measuring 50cm X 70cm was donated to the organizing team Wicked Comics to go up for an auction in aid of a Local Maltese Charity. The piece of astonishing acrylic on stretched canvas depicts the transformation of Bruce Banner into the Hulk, encapsulating into this artwork the grandeur and the monstrous nature of the Green Giant.
