Ed Brubaker was born to write these kinds of comics. Although he is doing a superb job on the Captain America regular series, Incognito is one of his gems. The anti-hero of the comic is an ex-villain that tries to fit with difficulty, in a normal life, after joining the witness-protection program. Ed Brubaker”s writing, is illustrated by partner in crime of the Criminal series, Sean Phillips who uses his noir art style to impart the right mood of the story. This was one of the times when I was actually glad that I picked the tpb instead of the series because it would have been a torture to wait for the next issue. I hope as they promised us that we will have another installment but with Brubaker”s busy schedule I think it will take some time.
