Geoff Johns is presently revitalizing the DC Universe and it is no wonder that he has been offered the position of Chief Creative Officer. Regarding the comic, I was never a fan of this hero but given that this story outlines the origin of Green Lantern, master storyteller Geoff Johns gives us great characterization with some great artwork from Ivan Reis. Hal Jordan emerges with all his ego, problems and doubts in this tpb. I really hope that director Martin Campbell is taking note of this origin related issues for the Green Lantern film which he is directing. For those that might have thought that Green Lantern might be a boring comic about a corny character, you are so wrong!
