Batman: Heart of Hush (Tpb)

This is what I call a great continuation to the excellent Hush storyline which originated from the pen of Jeph Loeb and pencils of Jim Lee. What makes it even exceptional is the fact that different creators are exploring the history and character of the main villain, Thomas Elliot. Paul Dini succeeds in nailing down the disturbed individual as he plots his revenge on his childhood companion, Bruce Wayne, which he blamed for his misfortunes. Through the story we are given flashbacks which help to explain his twisted motivations. Another significant part of this comic is the art of Dustin Nguyen. Its simple line artwork is enhanced by dark shadows and the colouring of Derek Fridolfs. An assembly of Batman”s cast are brought into the story, with suffering repercussions to someone very close to Batman”s heart. In the end it”s all about revenge!
