I am not a die hard fan of Kevin Smith but I enjoyed most of his comics” related work. When I started reading this Hard Cover, I did not have the least idea what to expect as this was not a main character re-launch just like Daredevil and Green Arrow but a simple limited series. This story does not include any special event which will affect the comic”s continuity. It focuses on the relationship between the Batman and the Joker (with great dialogue between these two characters), and it also reintroduces a mysterious villain that hopefully in the future will be further developed. A close friend to Kevin Smith is the artist Walt Flanagan, whose art I approached with skepticism, but once I got used to it I found it, just like the story, to my liking. Keep the stories coming Mr. Smith.
